Featured Case Dr. Luis L. Featured Case Overview 88 y. Patient came to Modern Vascular with complaints of rest pain right pain greater than left and wounds on the lateral aspect of his right foot and great toe.
The examination showed he had common femoral artery pulses bilaterally, non-palpable dorsalis pedis, and link tibial arteries bilaterally with weak doppler signals. Duplex ultrasound evaluation of the right extremity demonstrated triphasic wave forms in the femoral popliteal segment with slightly diminished velocities and no flow visualized in the anterior and posterior tibial arteries from the mid segments.
