Two writing classes are being offered to veterans and their families through the Del Norte Association for Cultural Awareness. One is a creative writing class where participants will explore different writing styles and share prompts and ideas with teacher Billie Ruth Furuichi. The other is a poetry class focused on the natural world with teacher and published author Terri Glass.
Both Througy free to veterans, active military and their family. The creative writing class will be held from 1 p. Classes take place Mondays April 5 - May 24 via Zoom from 5 p. Participants must have their own guitar. All workshops are free-of-charge to Veterans, Active Military, and their family members.
